Wow. This place surprised me. It's really good. I had wontons in chili oil, broccoli beef, and dry fried green beans. Everything was fresh and flavorful. They made broccoli beef, which can be pretty bland, great. Strangely, my favorite part was the chili oil on the wontons. It wasn't oily and had a great ginger flavor. I could eat it by itself. I had two spoonfuls of it when no one was looking. And a meal comes with free ice cream at the end!

Cozy newly opened restaurant in Seattle's Chinatown. Selection of entrees was amazing from starters to finish! Great coconut prawns with walnuts and fish dishes are excellent! We had the salty fish fried rice and ginger fish-so good. Give it a try!
Upstairs seating gives one plenty of space for larger groups, we had 9 people. -

Oh I feel horrible because I know this is a crowd favorite. The service was so cozy and it really felt like a Mom & Pop place. But the dishes I got were really below average. The beef and bitter melon was well seasoned but the beef was rubbery and enigmatic. They added onions (not green onions) to the dish which is an absolute no-no. And I honestly sat there and picked out all the bitter melon.
Perhaps I am being picky and perhaps I'm not adjusting enough for fair pricing. But I left rather disappointed in the food quality. The sauteed Chinese broccoli was above average. A tad too much corn starch and not enough garlic.
I would come try this place again and likely focus my orders on Cantonese cuisine, such as BBQ pork or duck.
Pros: cozy hole-in-the-wall, intimate, affordable
Cons: beef quality was poor, dishes were unappetizing
Recs: perhaps stick with the roast pork and duck -

Really yummy, quick service, and awesome prices. The employees are good natured and great humored. The combination lo mein and the chili wontons are bomb. I love the chill feeling of the place. No frills, just good!

After an awesome visit to the Wing Luke Museum (go check that out before this/come here after!), we stopped in for quick meal before our flight.
Everything about this place made it feel like I was back at home. From the food to the plates they were served on to the lady serving us the food. I'm a softie and will admit this rating rests heavily on nostalgia.

As I'm writing this, appears it's now closed which I hope not to be the case since it was really a lovely experience...

After some digging, it seems they've chosen to retire- happy for them!
